God's RSVP: Inviting God into the Problem...

Isaiah 43:2 says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

When you find yourself faced with darkness in your life, and all you can do is focus on God taking you out of your problem, then you will be nothing but disappointed - because God does not work on your schedule, nor does He grant wishes like a magical being. It may seem like every door is being shut all around you, and that it is taking longer than you thought, expected, or even hoped for God to help you in your hour of despair; and pull you right out of your problems. But know this, that He has not forgotten or forsaken you. He is waiting right beside you... waiting patiently, for you to invite Him into the fire with you. In reality, He is the only One who knows when the time is right for you to invite Him into your storm.

Challenges will come, and there will be things that happen to you that you will not understand, but when you realize the solution is not in waiting on something to change - but is instead, letting God into your problem, so that you will be given the strength and guidance you need to persevere. 

He will sometimes take you through the fire - but God knows how to make you fire proof - others do not determine your destiny, misfortunes cannot stop God's plans for your life, and addictions and unfair situations do not have the final say. God does not prevent all negative situations, but He uses these adversities to move you towards your purpose in life. HIS purpose for you.

Walk in faith and not by sight. Know He is right there with you, right beside you, within you, and will always be a part of you.

Go forward today in knowing, God is with you in every step you take, every fall you encounter, and every obstacle you overcome. And be thankful for this life He has given you, and HIS purpose that is held within you.
